After careful consideration and thought, I have decided to shut down the Scale Warbird Association. Our hobby has shrunk so much that there is just no need for this type of organization anymore. We are down to 15 members (started with over fifty), and it continues to decrease. Fly-ins are attended less and less, and frankly, the time involved and lack of participation make it not worth the effort anymore.
We will still be having our member raffle at the end of the year as usual. The plan is to cut off new memberships and renewals and run everything until December 31st, 2025, and then the organization and website will no longer be active. Those of you who purchased multi-year memberships that extend past that date, I will be contacting you personally and squaring up with you.
I appreciate everyone who has supported us over the years, and I hope to see you over on RCSCALEBUILDER.COM.
